An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administration Assistant to oversee the smooth running of the East Community Admin Team within the Mental Health Care Group. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Administration Assistant, who wants to participate and contribute to achieving excellent quality of care for our patients. In return for this commitment, we will support and develop your potential and skills through regular supervision and development in this busy role within our friendly Trust.
The successful applicant will possess RSA II Typing/Word Processing or equivalent; be educated to GCSE level (minimum 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths) or hold equivalent qualifications, will have demonstrable experience of working in a busy environment and workload management; be able to use a PC and standard software packages.
There may, at times, be a need to travel between various locations, so access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area is needed.
The successful applicant will be reliable and provide administration support to the East Locality Admin Team as well as supervising one or two admin assistants.
• Provide a senior confidential, quality administrative service to an identified branch of services
within the Care Group
• To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy
where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, service
users, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies
• Have an understanding/knowledge and be able to work towards the teams KPI’s and targets.
• Provide and receive routine information from work colleagues and clients. Exchange information with clients requiring tact and diplomacy
